Currently residing in Redding, California, I am an author, researcher, guest lecturer and freelance museum curator focused on the history of late 19th and early 20th century dress. I am interested in the historical and cultural importance and study of clothing. I subscribe to a material cultural viewpoint and believe in the importance of object-based research.

I received my Masters of Art in Visual Culture: Costume Studies from New York University. I have worked in a variety of institutions in exhibition research and installation capacities including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Costume Institute; Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, de Young Museum; Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Phoenix Art Museum.
